What we repair
A failed 24 V supply can take down a whole panel. Most industrial SMPS faults are repairable at component level: switching MOSFETs, controller ICs, rectifiers and aged electrolytic capacitors are the usual causes.
We replace aged capacitors with 105 °C low-ESR parts, check the protection circuits and run each supply at its rated current, so the repair lasts.

- Protection. Over-voltage, short-circuit and auto-recovery behaviour verified.

Failed switching MOSFET, controller IC, start-up resistor or input fuse traced and replaced.
Low or unstable output voltage
Aged output capacitors, feedback and regulation parts replaced and the output re-trimmed.

Overload and thermal protection, output stage and capacitors checked at full load.
Burnt primary stage after a surge
Input rectifier, PFC stage and switching stage rebuilt and tested.
Fan, noise or overheating
Fans, hot-spot parts and heatsink contact restored.
DC OK relay or LED not working
Monitoring and signal circuits repaired so your PLC sees the right status.

Is it worth repairing a power supply instead of buying new?
For industrial and machine-specific supplies, usually yes: repair is often well below the cost of a new unit and avoids waiting for stock. We quote first so you can decide.
Do you test the power supply under load?
Yes. Every supply is run at its rated current and checked for voltage, ripple and protection before dispatch.
Which power supply brands do you repair?
Siemens SITOP, Phoenix Contact QUINT, PULS, TDK-Lambda, Weidmüller and many machine-specific supplies, including Fanuc CNC power supplies.
How long does an SMPS repair take?
Standard turnaround is 3 to 4 working days from receipt of your PO, when components and schematic are available with us. Priority (24 to 48 hours) and breakdown service are available on request.
